US election results - real and mock

The results of the U.S. Presidential Election are in, and Barack Obama is the new President-Elect. Thanks to all who voted in the mock elections held in the Library on Tuesday. Turnout both in the U.S. Election and at school was impressive (59% at school). The Library's display features books relevant to the election and the Presidency, and includes a U.S. map with the results for each state. The School's mock election results are also on display in the Library.

Document it for Word

This fantastic tool for managing your citations is available on all school computers. (Go to the Add-ins tab in Microsoft Word, then click on the inkpot icon.) You will be presented with a template to fill in necessary information. This information can be used in your document in different ways - as an in-text citation e.g. (Smith, 2005), as a footnote, as an endnote or as part of a bibliography.
